The Ladies Retreat was amazing! Debbie Mills challenged us to let go of anything that keeps us from being all that God wants us to be, and to hold on to God as we trust Him to direct our life.
We were at capacity in our chalet at Smoky Mountain. Christian Village in Pigeon Forge. Our Events Coordinator, Jessica Poff, has her eye on a larger chalet for next year so that we can accommodate more ladies. It was a fun time with our girlfriends. Paul & Sandy Vowell and Larry & Erika Brammer made meals to equal a five-star restaurant! Check the blog on Thursday for recipes that they used for the retreat. http://www.isbcwm.blogspot.
Please welcome our new WM Coordinators:
Susie Toomey - is our Discipleship/In-reach Coordinator. In this position, Susie will be implementing new Bible Studies, and other opportunities for spiritual growth. A simulcast might be in the WM future, so be watching for new and exciting things to happen within this ministry.
Kathy Neal - is our Communications Coordinator. Kathy will oversee our greeting card ministry, as well as writing the WOW (Woman of the Week) post each Friday on the WM blog. Be sure to check out who is the WOW this week.
Christin Claybrook and Brooke Phillipe - Food Coordinators - Still in the development stages, these ladies will be cooking meals for a month to have on hand for ladies who are in need of a meal due to illness, births, or loss of a family member. Look for classes in the future on how you can cook meals for a month in one day.
Have you read the Health & Wellness Tip for the week from our Health & Wellness Coordinator, Brandy Kisner? Do you need to clean out your pantry and fridge. Find out what you should be tossing in the garbage and what to replace it with. http://isbcwm.blogspot.com/
