Healthy eating is not a "diet" it is a "live it". When we do diets, we leave something out for a while to try to lose weight then we gain it back when it is added back in. Eating for the health of our bodies should not be for a limited time to lose weight. Yes, healthy eating will cause you to lose weight, but when you do it for a lifestyle change...it changes the way you look and the way you feel.
There is a lot of confusion out there as to what healthy eating is, so let me help you with some tips.

The most important thing that I can tell you for eating healthy is to eat foods as close to the way that God created them to be eaten. If it comes from a box with a list of ingredients a child can't read or pronounce, you shouldn't eat it. Our bodies were created to metabolize food, when companies alter them by placing preservatives in them to last longer, chemicals on them to kill off bugs to have more crops, inject them with hormones to make them grow bigger, and pump them with antibiotics to make them "healthy" at slaughter...then our bodies suffer. We absorb these items into our bodies and they confuses it. Our bodies can not adequately break down these substances, so they store them. That's why we, in the health community, are seeing a rise in childhood and adult obesity. It is at an all time high here in the U.S. along with diabetes, asthma, heart disease, skin conditions, you name it, these additives contribute to it.

Look at your labels. If a food contains preservatives, throw it out and don't buy it again. If it has ingredients you can't pronounce, it needs to go. Then, go to the store and restock your cabinets and fridge with healthy ingredients. Not all things packaged are bad..just read the label.
