Each of us experience trials in life - all so different. From health problems, death in our family, debt and financial struggles, job loss, divorce....the list goes on. It's life. It's why we look forward to our eternity of peace and comfort in heaven.
Through all of these burdens we endure, we have to remember God has a plan. Although our troubles seem hurtful, as we stand on Him, we should remind ourselves that His plan is not to to harm us but to prosper us. As 1 Peter 5:10 tells us, our burdens are temporary. "after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, and strengthen and establish you.".
As we tighten our boot straps to climb over our mountain of pain, knowing His plan is perfect, one day He will use it for His Glory. Then it's your story, your testimony.
Amidst your trials and suffering, Praise Him - knowing His plans far exceed what you can expect.
1 Peter 3:14 "but, even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation and do not be troubled.."

PS from Beth - I heard Dr. David Jeremiah say this morning that as Christians God doesn't guarantee us smooth sailing in the storms of life but he promises us a safe landing!
