WMW-July 11

Women's Ministry Wednesday

We have an exciting Fall line-up with lots of activities and opportunities for service.

Clean Eating
Our Health & Wellness Coordinator, Brandy Kisner, is writing a series on "Making Your Food Work for You" on our WM blog each Tuesday. These posts are very informative. Brandy is teaching us how to eat without preservatives, additives, and other unhealthy things that are in our processed foods. Learn how to eat clean and healthy by reading her posts at http://www.isbcwm.blogspot.com

Ladies Conference

There isn't a fee, but sign-up is appreciated.  Food will be provided. Please sign-up at the WM table in the foyer.

Small Groups
Beginning the week of September 10th. These six-eight week sessions will be meeting in homes and various locations. Details will be revealed next week, but there will be lots of variety to choose from. We still need a few leaders. Contact Susie Toomey at susiektoomey@king.edu if you are willing to lead one of these Small Groups.

Third Annual Fit for the King Race Day
Sunday, September 16th is the date for this event at Warrior's Path State Park. Sign-up sheets are located at the WM table in the church foyer. All race participants are required to register. We would also like to know how many people will be coming with you to enjoy the activities and meal, or who wish to purchase a t-shirt.  T-shirts are included with registration for the 5K race.  The 5K is $20. The 3K walk, the Kids' Run, and the Kids' Dash are all free. Festivities begin at 4:30 pm. For more info, contact Pam Archer, afcpam@gmail.com or 292-9418.

Gibsontown Sock and Shoe Drive

Volunteers at both campuses are needed to oversee the collection points.  Many more volunteers will be needed on the dates of set-up and distribution.
