My name is Rachel Call. I grew up in Kingsport and then moved to Bristol
when I got married 9 years ago. I went to church off and on growing up. I kept
trying to find a church home after getting married. My husband is a believer
too, he actually is the one who bought my first Bible. However, since his work
schedule requires him to work on the weekends he is unable to attend church
with me and the boys. I had attended other large churches before and they never
felt right, but I did find my home at Indian Springs. After 'visiting' for
several years, we joined in January of 2012. I have been saved for a long time
but was finally baptized in February. I am an Occupational Therapist by
profession. I work with disabled pediatrics and adults. I have two sons, 4 year
old Aiden and 2 year old Rowan.
Some of my hobbies include crocheting, working out, camping, and
cooking. I have been a runner for several years. I love competing in races
because seeing all shapes, sizes, and ages all participating in the same event
is inspiring. My most recent favorite workout is CrossFit and go on a regular
basis. My favorite thing to do is to travel. I have been overseas twice and
would love to go to Ireland/ Scotland and South America one day.
